Sometimes on the iPhone the app music stops between songs
iOS5 has changed the lock screen functionality and can cause local (iPod) music to stop at the end of the song in TuneTug if the screen is locked. A workaround is to change the screen lock settings in the iOS Settings application. Go to Settings->General->Auto-Lock and set it to 'Never' We're also working on a better fix for this problem..
I connect using Facebook on the TuneTug Mac App, but then nothing happens
A change made by Facebook caused our login system to stop working. You can download an updated Mac version directly from our homepage. Just press the blue MacOS button. An updated version should be available on the Mac App Store within days.
My friend doesn't have an iPhone. Can he vote on songs?
GPS enabled smartphones can access public TuneTug parties by clicking the Join button tunetug.com. You can also share a direct link: just tap share from the host iOS app's party view. You can send an SMS or email with the link to a mobile web page that your friend can access. Web voting works on smartphones such as Blackberry and Android devices, as well as the iPhone.
I'm trying to join a nearby party, but it is not showing up in the list. How do I join?
If the party isn't found on GPS you can enter the 7 character party code, which can be found when any TuneTug user taps the share button from their mobile device.
An example code would be: "aqzalnd". The creator of the party can also try updating the location via GPS by going to the settings icon

and tapping the 'Update Party Location' button.
What happens when I run out of tugs?
You get your tug (vote) back when the song that you tugged has played. You may also undo an existing tug by tapping the up or down arrow again. Another option is to ask the party host to increase the number of tugs for the party (See next question).
As a party host, how do I set the number of tugs each user gets?
Initially your party will allow 6 tugs per user. Tap the settings button

in the party view to change the number of tugs. For a small party you may want to set the number higher. For a large party you may want to set the number of tugs lower.
I can't find a song that I tugged down? Where did it go?
Your song may be hard to find at the bottom of a long song list. Tap the "All Songs" button in the bottom left of the party view, and the view will change to show only songs that have tugs. You will find your tugged down songs at the bottom of this list.
Can I add more songs to a party that I created?
Yes, click the music note symbol

on the party page. You can only add 100 songs at a time from this view. The songs will show up towards the bottom of your playlist. It may take a few seconds for all of the songs to appear.
